UL508A Submetering enclosures are NEMA 4X which means they are designed to protect against liquid and solid particulate. They are also resistant to corrosion.

This is dependent on the individual components inside each submetering enclosure, most are -20* to 60*C with a modem. -30*C to 70*C without a modem.  

• The submetering panels come with an embedded power supply designed to power all items within the submetering panel. Input specifications of the Power Supply are 90-304 VAC. It provides a 24VDC / 1.25A output at 30W. The submetering panel is not designed to power exterior devices.
